Well, not really. But it looks really cool. About the size of a die.
It's a little cube 24x24x24 mm, only a few grams in weight. Makes it REALLY easy to lose, but still nifty. Has a tiny OLED screen too, and a mini clickwheel.
I think it's the geek in me, but why can imagine a "polyhedron" hack for this MP3 player? Stick it in a 20-sided die.

Fugly.
I'd rather have a shuffle that works on Mac and Windows.
--
Theirs: 256 mb / 512 mb / 1 gb So, it holds 60 songs / 120 songs / 240 songs? They don't even say...
I"m guessing here.
At least with the Shuffle you can tape it to your chest or arm for running, what do you do with a cube?
---
A Polyhedron idea would be cool, or even how about a dodecahedron?

Nice to see good design, with materials and all, though concering the shape, I wouldn't find it more convinieant than the iPod mini

You mean shuffle.. it only goes to 1gb.
Mini starts at 4gb, and is a better design by far.

It's not bad actually, it looks alright and it has an OLED display (it does, doesn't it?). I would be concerned about having the corners poke me while it is in my pocket though.
It's not so bad though, you guys shouldn't dislike something just because it isn't a Shuffle.

I don't disslike it because it isn't a Shuffle, I dislike it because it's ugly and isn't as good as a shuffle.
1. It's windows only.
2. It is not a shape that is condusive to using for active people... It's a cube...
3. How many songs will it hold? They don't say, it is 256mb / 512mb/ and 1gb so I'm assuming the song quantity to be the same as Shuffle, which would translate to 60 / 120 / 240 respectively, but I cannot be sure.
4. They are competing with the Shuffle directly, but I don't see any benefits to it over the Shuffle.
The only benefit I can see is, it would work well in a car, maybe, as it has an FM broadcast built in right?
--
It's mp3/wma... ack.
---
I can hear it now. Is that a DAH-1500 in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?
None of the links to the accessories work. Is this for real?

Nope. I didn't like the CUBE computer either... the mini is cool though... but I'm not really warm on that either unless you get a few of them and then start messing with the paralell processing.
I'm a fanboy for Apple and I admit it, but only because they have made great stuff in the past three to four years, but before that, I was not impressed.

1. It says right on the page it works with macs.
2. The shape is so small it doesn't much matter. It fits in a pocket. Period.
3. And?
4. Screen? Ability to play the song you want?

I would like to see Apple make a Shuffle with an OLED display... I'm sure there must be some way to incorporate it into the industrial design.

You have to read the fine print under the heading: PC SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS.
Nowhere else on the page is anything but PC mentioned....
If you think it's ok to put in your pocket then great. I differ in my opinion.
And? = And what?
I would like to see an OLED in a Shuffle, and an FM broadcaster...

I like the idea of the FM broadcaster... that said you can bet if Apple announces an iPod with WMA play back heads will roll... if only from Mac user decapitating themselves in strange mourning practices.

I like this little cube.
-competitively priced
-compatible with Macs
-compatible with non-DRM music
-less nerdy than a shuffle necklace
-OLED display
-FM radio listening

Well, since the "Godfather" likes it, I like it now too.
Just saw some more pictures of it:
It reminds me of the iPod flea though... and the cube shape is just a bit awkward.
Imagine some wireless headphones...

Its feature set is awesome... I just don't like the shape...
When I am working out, what am I supposed to do with it. I'm too used to having my iPod strapped to my arm.

You can wear an FM headset and then hold this thing in your hand while you ran/jogged and it would be ok.. but it's too awkward of a shape for me...

I could never own one of these, I have enough trouble remembering to make sure my mini isn't in my pocket before I throw my pants in the wash.

Um... cute, but I wouldn't want to put in my pocket. Girls wouldn't want to put it in their shirt pocket cause it'll look like she has a square nipple.
