Are there any webcams compatible with Powerbook? iSight is too expensive.

I dont want to sound pathetic but which is the cheapest webcam available for PB?

I want to use my Sony DCR-340E as webcam. Is it possible?

If it's Firewire, iChat should recognize it. If it's USB then download iChatUSBCam from versiontracker.com (run a search on the VT site) and that should work but for really choppy quality. Worth a shot I guess, I know there's iBot which is cheaper than iSight but is ehhhh on looks.
NOW YOU SEE ME! 2.4 MBP and 2.0 MBP (running ubuntu)

Look around on the marketplace forum here, last time I saw one sold for $50, I prefer iSight than others.
