I have 12" G4 PB and want to upgrade RAM. I am in india. I was told by the apple authorised dealer that I MUST buy Apple certified RAM otherwise my warranty will become void!!!

Is this correct?

An idea - if you do use third party ram. If PB needs to go to Apple for any reason - Take out the third party ram. What ever the problem Apple will claim it is the third party ram.
