Hi,

I am facing this problem in Entourage but could be related to character set thing of OS X.

When I save an email in entourage as eml following text is converted

"he has already provided us the priority for each an every
application to be migrated. (Refer attached file). We could get a
reconfirmation from him or get back to him if we feel that the
applications cannot be delivered as per the priority."

to
"he has already provided us the priority for each an every
application to be migrated. (Refer attached file). We could get a
reconfirmation from him =r get back to him if we feel that the
applications cannot be delivered as per =he priority."

Spaces are converted to %20 or ;nbsp in the message source.

Opening the message from Finder displays it properly without character
conversion but opening on Windows machine shows conversion of some
characters.

What could be the reason for this?

I have to transfer loads of emails from my Powerbook to PC outlook but
this is stopping me.

Can anyone help?

Cheers,
Ashish

Are the original messages in Entourage in HTML format? If so, try converting them to plain text.
I do not like those green links and spam.
I do not like them, Sam I am.

This is an indirect way, but it will work:
Open the message, hit reply, got to format and uncheck the HTML menu item. Then you can save the plain text message as a draft.

Or simply open the message and save as a text file from the File menu.
