A couple of months ago I started a thread about BrightPoint for Children, a child sponsorship program that helps needy Kenyan orphans with basic needs: medicine, food, school supplies, adult supervision, boarding, etc. Over 90% of every dollar goes directly to help the children with the above-stated needs, and you can read more about BrightPoint at their web site:

Anyway, I've been doing a fundraiser on Facebook over the last couple of months, and we're down to the LAST DAY -- and we're SIXTY DOLLARS short of meeting the goal of $500, which covers one FULL YEAR of sponsorship for a child. To sweeten the deal, I'm matching dollar-for-dollar, which means TWO children can be fully sponsored. I've already given my $500, so now all I need is $60 more.
I wanted to ask all of you guys and gals if you'd PLEASE consider helping! Can someone here give just
one more gift this Holiday season? Will someone here help me make sure two kids get their needs taken care of for ALL of 2009?
