Since people seem to be clamoring for a bluetooth keyboard for the iphone i wanted peoples thoughts on a projection keyboard for the iphone. Would you feel it would address your needs?

I'm not sure that projection keyboards are such a great idea, but then again I've never actually used one. What do you see as the advantages of one over a bluetooth keyboard?

They don't work. I've tried them.
You need a flat surface. Forget about using it anywhere other than a desk.

I don't see any disadvantage next to a bluetooth keyboard. However it seems like the kind of technology that apple would implement and improve.

Have you used one? They barely work on an ideal flat surface let alone the kinds of wonky surfaces that mobile users often encounter... how will you use this on your lap when you whip it out quickly at an airport? You wont. These things suck period. They have been out for years... Wonder why no one uses them... Maybe it is because they blow.
