Targeting the team to maximize on a project other than SAH would not work as people generally want to get 'maximum usage/maximum points' and because of the optimizations that generally means SAH. Plus many users of machines at their work place just want to set it and forget it. It can't get in the way of work.
(btw (this should be a new thread really) I note Chicken are ready to release a new worker as soon as the new wu's are released by SAH. I expect (hope) that Alex will also be ready with one for Macs, as he works with Chicken on their workers)

I did suggest, a while back, that we run some kind of TeamMacNN Awards, but no interest. We could have a couple of categories, i.e. 'Best Mac DC Project' and 'Best overall DC project' or whatever people want to suggest, but not too derogatory. If there are a lot of suggestions for categories we could have a poll (can we still do a Poll on this new website?) to select say, the top three. Then we would have nominations, and a poll to choose the winner. We would need some kind of distinctive award badge to present to the winners and hope they display it on there web site. So it could be done if we wanted to do it.

You raise a great point. It is interesting in that everyone must find their own value/meaning in participating in a forum. Thinking back on this, I started watching the forum as the flurry of opt ap development started a couple years back. Suffice it to say, the one common thread that bound most of us w/ the feverish pace of setting up/running and posting test results as opt aps were developed and updated, especially since Rick and Alex came on the scene. Alex's passion for development and optimizing has been the MAIN forum project we've all participated for quite a while and I think the basket where all the eggs have been. A little diversity could be good for the farm
