Hi Folks,

It's time for me to move on to a new team. I have really enjoyed my time here with Team MacNN, but I am now looking for a team with a more active community. I decided to wait until I hit the 10M mark, to leave Team MacNN with those points as thanks for all the help everyone has provided over the years, especially for alexkan's outstanding SETI apps!

But there is some paperwork that needs to be cleaned up...

I am currently the founder for Team MacNN for the following projects. Functionally, I can change teams while still remaining the founder for these teams for Team MacNN. The server-side BOINC SW supports this. So this is not a thing that has to happen before I change teams. But I assume that this team will want someone to take over founder-ship.

reader50: I will move the founder-ship to whoever you tell me to. But that person 1) has to have an account on that project, and 2) needs to request the change. And some of these projects are invite-only. So maybe the person to re-assign them to will be different for each project.

Sorry to see you go, zombie. I'd been trying to get things going again, looks like I took too long to do it. If you change your mind, we'll still be here.

I'll put in the founder-change requests on all the projects I can get into. Then check the lists for the invite-projects, and recommend someone.

zombie, didn't you have a team founder or two still in transit?

Good point. The only outstanding one right now is SETI. That expires on Jan 20, so I'll take over on the 21st, and then reassign. Beats having someone else request on the 21st, and then waiting 3 months.

Also, need to transfer the global team, so new projects get set up with the founder of your choice. The global team is here: Team MacNN

Would you like us to march on Washington?

zombie67, this is going to take awhile, since I wasn't on any of your teams except SETI BOINC. I've joined the BOINC global team, and requested the transfer. The others I'll tackle in the next few days.

For security reasons, I'd suggest you not accept a transfer request on any project until I confirm it came from me via Private Message. That will prevent mischief.

Looks like zombie took his credits with him in seasonal attribution!

Yeah, CPDN and (I think) SA have different rules about points when changing teams.

Sorry to see you go zombie67. I hope you still post updates here for when projects add Mac support. I have joined several projects because of your posts. I hope to see you around these parts again.
