Is it okay to make a business of selling freeware application packages? Or is it against the law?
Just wondering.

Check the license agreement of each software program to see if the author requires his or her permission to distribute the app in any bundle for which there is a charge. Even if there's no such clause, it's still probably good form to contact the authors for permission anyway. I know that it used to make me really angry when people were selling BootCD on eBay without my permission back in the day.

Where can I find the license if I've already installed the program.

In general, for apps labeled "freeware," it's a no-no. For apps with open-source licenses, it's usually permitted, but still generally considered kind of skanky.

Yeah, if it's freeware it's definitely meant to be free.
