I have the new eye tv 400, picture quality is fantastic. The software does crash sometimes and so far caused 2 kernel panics.

Files save as muxed mpeg2, 1hr 30mins = 3.05GB. No Problems viewing the recordings in quicktime.

There is currently no teletext or radio stations

Overall I am happy with it

I made my first dvd last night using the built in options.

It took toast a couple of hours to encode on my dual 1gig, I recorded a widescreen film using the pvr options.

Only played a couple of seconds in the apple dvd player so far. The picture aspect ratio looked funny with the picture looking a little squashed!!! I will play it in my stand alone player tonight and will get back to you.

Cheers

Steve
