Subject says it all....

I'm looking for an inexpensive way to get my audio from my mac to my HT.

I used to do that with the Xitel DG2 USB-to-mini-optical audio adapter


but since quite some time I have a M-Audio Revolution 7.1 PCI card (coaxial, not optical though) which also supports AC3 passthrough with VLC!

HT = Home Theater....
No my Mac is in one room and my Receiver in another so the USB to SPDIF is not a viable option.
