I created a new encrypted disk image last night, on which I plan to store some very sensitive date. However, the image is not requiring the password I set in order to mount. Any ideas? Thanks.

You probably left on the checkbox that says "Add password to keychain". Remove the password from the keychain and it should ask for it when you mount the disk image. Make sure that checkbox is off in the dialog that asks for the password.

Sage advice, sir (or ma'am). Works flawlessly now. Thank you very much!
