I'm running OSX.2.8 and have 9.1 installed also. When I try opening an application in 9.1, I get the following Error:

Classic Startup found no system folder on the boot voluem from whic to start Classic.

...yaddha, yaddha, yaddha in small print afterwords....

I recently re-installed everything with my new hard-drive. I installed Mac OS9 first and than OSX. OSX works fine, just can't seem to start up OS9.

I appreciate your help in advance! Thanks- Toad

I should add that Classic tries to open on the toolbar, but than I get the error.

It asks me to open classic preferences, which I do but I can't select a OS9 system folder. It doesn't let me. It shows an OSX system folder but that is greyed out.

I checked my hard drive and I do have an OS9 system folder... any ideas?
