Hi , am about to buy a new mobile and need some input and info.

I am deciding between a Nokia 6225 (http://www.nokiausa.com/phones/6225) and a Motorola V600 (http://www.motorola.com/mdirect/hell...sh/index.shtml).

Any input about how syncing with iSync and Bluetooth is, Apple site says it doesn't work with Motorola Bluetooth mobiles- thats true?
Furthermore the 6230 doesn't seem to be supported either- can anybody conform that?

How about going online, any experience with that, maybe an info site for me????
Hope u can give me some input.
Thanks,
Dom

Arrgh. I just deleted my response.

The short form:

For now, v600 only works with iSync via a data cable.

Tiger (OS 10.4) should enable sync via bluetooth for the v600.

Internet access via BT should be possible, though I haven't tried it yet.

My GF loves her v600. She doesn't mind using the cable for iSync, but I'd say she syncs less than she would if BT worked.

Do a search on this forum for "v600". The first half-dozen threads seem relevant to your questions.

Just to thro it out there. Remember the BT syncing not working with Motorla has to do with Apple implementing an older syncing technology than Moto uses. I forget the details but tiger is converting over to it with a rewrite of iSync. Anyway, as already stated, the V600 will be able to sync via BT after tiger comes out but needs the cable now.

that's the one with the 1.3 megapixel camera, no? if so, it looks nice but is expensive. the abovementioned phones (and the one i just bought, the SE T637, and my previous nokia 3650) are all available just about free when you open a new account. amazon.com has the best rebates...
