Stuff like this makes me proud to support macs.

1. Microsoft announced that they will not support USB 2.0 in their soon to be release Windows XP. They will instead support Apple's Firewire technology.
2. Microsoft announced that they will not support Bluetooth in XP, but instead will support 802.11, the wireless protocol embraced by many computer manufacturers, and popularized by Apple.
with this and the the support from sonyis pretty cool news, especially after all the negative publicity mac has been getting ie. their loss in the education market to dell.

I think that the point of this thread is not break the news that WinXP has embraced firewire, rather its to show that Apple was mentioned in conjunction with the news. I could be wrong.

boo hoo my topic is a couple days late 
at least the sony article is less than 50 hours old
david hit the nail on the head. my point was that apple was mentioned somewhere else in the news other than macnn, or a mac source. ( visorcentral)
but if anyone else has cool mac news that is not biased let me know
