Does anyone know if there's anyway to get at .Mac sync data on Linux? I'm not talking about data on an iDisk, which is easily accessible, but the address book, calendar, and other sync data.

All that stuff is proprietary... Other apps can plug-in to Apple Sync Services (I believe), but I don't think this API is open.
Why does it have to be .Mac?

Well, there's the .Mac SDK, but that's obviously only going to work with cocoa apps. (Or is it cocoa/carbon? Whatever, doesn't really matter.) I figured there probably wasn't any way to do it, and haven't been able to find anything indicating otherwise, but you never know what someone around here might have managed.

Because I currently use .Mac to keep my data synced between my various computers, and I'm trying to figure out if there's anyway I could easily add a Linux box into the mix. Of course one of the things I keep synced with .Mac is my Yojimbo database, and obviously there's not a Linux version of Yojimbo... (although it does just use a SQLite database, and I've been planning on trying to write an app that will access that for another project anyway).

Honestly, if you want to keep your data in sync between multiple platforms, I would probably suggest doing syncs at the file system level using an open protocol.

Yeah, I know. It's just so convenient using .Mac.
