There’ll be a press conference next week announcing that, in order to “standardise and unify” performance and rendering of all Internet content, and create a truly worldwide standard for all to adhere to, IE7 will be scrapped and IE5 will be reinstalled as a critical, non-avoidable update to all versions of Windows.

When asked by a reporter, "What about support for CSS standards?" a Microsoft Spokesman replied, "When did we ever support CSS?"

Yep, Office 2007 is just horrible!
I gave away the free copy I was given, and went back to AbiWord which is enough for what I use.

The 4 o'clock train will be a bus.
It will depart at 20 minutes to 5.

This left Office 2003 in a somewhat unstable condition. One example: I can no longer create a new task in Outlook 2003. I tried the "repair" and that didn't work either.
Looks like I'm going to do my semi-annual reinstall of Windows XP a little early. Thanks Microsoft.
Check out System Restore and hope that the O2K7 installer set a restore point and you can go back to before it. Backup your recent files though because although System Restore says it will leave your documents and other stuff alone, some of them tend to go walkies or just vanish.
