I remember seeing a desktop shot a while back, that had the album cover of the song that was playing displayed. From what i remember, it was a seperate program to iTunes. It ran on the bottom right hand corner of the screen (in this case), and took up little desktop space. I found it to be kinda neat.
Anyone have an idea of what i am talking about? I tried searching to no avail.

Well, I'd say go with Sofa 'cause
A) It's does a damn good job. (Grabs the correct artowork 90% of the time)
B) It's $25 cheaper than Konfabulator. (Meaning it's free)
C) It looks good, works smoothly, and is still being updated on a pretty much weekly basis, so you can toss out your ideas to the developer, and he's very responsive.

Sofa is one of the nicest apps I have got on my mac, and it's piss easy to skin Cedric is the most responsive developer I have ever worked with, you'll quite often find him awake at 4am making fixes and posting off emails.

You could also try Synergy. Darn cool app, and it's only $5!

Some don't work any more. I was looking for one over the weekend only to find that Amazon's been cracking down on too many image downloads and not enough purchases.
Do any STILL work?

That's the best least annoying one I've tried. Worth the $5 too.

Ya, Synergy is probably the best. Too bad about the Amazon thing. I used Synergy back when all you had to do to register was check a box and you could use it. Since then the developer has gotten a bit smarter and implemented serial numbers but I thought it was sorta funny. Best 5 bucks Ive spent beside that cool Techniclick II pencil I have

I'm playing with Sofa now and I love it. So far, no problems.
EDIT: COOOOOOL! Sofa shows a slide show of embedded images in the MP3! That was unexpected.

Synergy does too. I just use Sofa for finding covers to embed in the songs.
