Does anyone know if there is a way to turn off (or at least make dimmer) the light on the front latch that glows bright then dim whilst in sleep mode?
I would really like to turn this off if possible.
Any ideas?
Thanks

It's probably easiest to just try sticking something over it, using a marker/paint, etc. I suppose you could get in there and disconnect the wiring, but that certainly would not be worth the risk or effort.

it's also a good indicator...that your powerbook is in fact asleep (and not on, or frozen...)
cover it up? or turn it around...

I put a mouse in front of it. Much easier for me to actually get some sleep too.
But short of remove the light or something, there is no software solution (that anyone knows of).

If you let the PB sleep with the LCD open the light pulses dimmer than normal, try that ?
