Look at this:

Holographic recording technology records data on discs in the form of laser interference fringes, enabling existing discs the same size as today's DVDs to store as much as one terabyte of data (200 times the capacity of a single layer DVD), with a transfer speed of one gigabyte per second (40 times the speed of DVD)

Yeah, we've really gotta stop giving George Lucas more opportunities to re-release Star Wars. He just makes it worse each time.

Damn. 300GB on a single disk...thats a lot. They need to figure out how to make the discs the same size as a dvd or cd. That way we could get a drive that can play CD/Holographic/DVD's.

When people post new threads, they get timelined. When people post in old threads due to new developments, they get this. What's a boy to do?

Check the date on an old thread, and if it's older than about a month or so, post a new one.
