Anyone ever used to watch Alley McBeal? I'm watching Boston Legal now, and I have to say, it's basically the same, but the thing is, I don't mind because his stuff is really just damn good comedy/drama. I'm really loving this show, just finishing up season 1 and on to season 2 (I got a stress fracture in my foot so I have to stay off it, it was either a new video game on snes9x, or a TV series on DVD  )

Watched Ally back in the 90s. Was ok then. I *REALLY* miss the Practice. That was a great show.
And yeah Boston Legal rocks, mainly due to the genius of Denny Crane

Love Boston Legal. Awesome cast. John Larroquette seems a bit lost on there though (at least, on the episodes we're up to, Down Under). He seems... underutilized.

Casting John was a mistake. I don't like him as an actor, and he surely doesn't add value to the show.
