Check this out:

http://powerlogix.com/products2/enclosure/

I was thinking about selling my cube, but it looks like I may just make a little project out it. A review of the Powerlogix PowerCube Enclosure from www.cubeowner.com may have convinced me to keep it a little longer.

It looks pretty cool. It allows for extra air flow inside the cube and also makes space for a better graphics card. Plus you can get it with G5 styling, cheese grater included!

Not bad, would be nice to get details on what retail vid cards can fit now. It's all moot, since a G5 cube is coming for MWSF04 . . . wakes up from dream.

That's kind of fugly, and turns your Cube into an old Mac in a 3rd party case. My point being that part of the charm of the Cube, no make that most of the charm of the Cube is it's the Cube. So now you have this fugly third party case, that defeats the identity of your Cube and all you are left with is a difficult to upgrade, expensive, outdated Mac.

Kooky if u ask me, but u didn't ask so I guess I'll shut up now.

I totally agree ! It does not even come close to the original cube design. What used to be and still is a great but limited (in term of upgrades) apple product has become a cheap replica . I am not convinced by it at all.

I have to agree, it defeats the purpose of having a cube.

If you really want a new case (ie because of too many scratches and stuff), run down to your nearest apple authorized service center they will be able to order you a new original apple case.. and it's much cheaper than the powerlogix's.

At that price tag, I rather go for a G4 upgrade card IF I own a Cube.
