Google/Chrome is throwing up malware warnings on the forums right now, even though the diagnostic page said no malware was found. I imagine it has something to do with the ad network.

I'm getting the warning in Safari as well. I'm assuming it is safe to ignore and I can proceed as long as I don't click on any ads which I wasn't planning on doing anyway.

I have deleted the infected post and some other things I found out during the security audit. Feel free to browse the forum as usual. If you find anything else, report it to me via PM.

The warning is gone for me now.

EDIT:

Not completely. I still get it with a few subforums.

What was the problem anyway?

I just got the warning as well. I went to Google's diagnostic site and it listed the following as the offending content:

Of the 3750 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 66 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent. The last time Google visited this site was on 2012-01-22, and the last time suspicious content was found on this site was on 2012-01-22.
Malicious software is hosted on 5 domain(s), including sweepstakesandcontestsnow.com/, 92.241.191.0/, sweepstakesandcontestsinfo.com/.

3 domain(s) appear to be functioning as intermediaries for distributing malware to visitors of this site, including turtle777.dreamhosters.com/, johndierks.com/, craigminah.com/.

MNN: "Apparently, this was a security test."

Indeed I don't understand. Google or whomever runs an extended test (24+ hours) that hoses anothers site? Is that normal? For sure, I have not seen the likes...

Indeed my sympathies are with the Admins.

Looks like cache issues leftover from whatever happened yesterday. If you click the "more info" button, they talk about finding something yesterday, and yesterday was the last time they checked.

I do not see the warning if I go into TeamMacNN, but do if I come into the Feedback area.

Got a malware warning from the new forums. Says the below link is well known for serving up malware and wouldn't let me view the forum lounge.
