With the 2012 Olympics approaching and the fact that I’ve been playing this pretty cool Olympics games, I was just wondering what everyone’s favorite Olympic game would be. As far as the game is concerned, there is an archery game that you can play and I really enjoy that. However, when it comes to watching the Olympics, I would probably have to go with basketball as being my favorite sport.
So, what about you? What is your favorite Olympic event?
Here’s the link to the game:

I like the track and field events, archery, and gymnastics. I don't much care for the others.
Edit: Oh, and diving.

Hockey.
That's the only one I give a rat's ass about, but I love it. Love Olympic hockey.
It's like watching a stream of All-Star games, but the players give a damn.

Definitely track and field events. Pure ability-based athletic competition. The swimming events fall into this category, too.

Just watched the somewhat patronising video. Short version is: Sign up for "Unblock Us", put these two DNS servers into your network settings:
208.122.23.22
208.122.23.23
It says reboot but you shouldn't need to.

As I'm living in the UK, I'm constantly berated by Olympic coverage. Not just now, but in the last few months. Try as I might to ignore it, even using the Internet as my refuge isn't helping in my efforts to avoid the "Global School Sports Day."
Do I hate the Olympics? No. I'm just fed up of the non-stop news about it...

I'm afraid my DVR-centric viewing has kept me from watching the Olympics much. I just forget it's on.
However last night I did happen to turn on the TV and it was already on NBC, so I got to watch Michael Phelps break his gold medal record in the swim relay. With the newscaster gushing over him and his big win, I felt a little bad for his teammates. They gave him a huge lead for his leg, so he just had to maintain, but then he was very gracious towards them and gave them credit.
And I saw the US gymnasts get their gold, and yeah, a little choked up there for no good reason.
