I ordered a BTO imac last week.
2.16
250 gb hard drive
256 vram video card
2gb memory
20"

It's very nice. Dead quiet! In fact it's the quietest computer I've ever seen.
No dead pixels either and this machine is blazing fast.

There is one issue however. Every single website I visit with Quicktime content appears broken in both Safari and Mozilla. It's pretty annoying since almost every site I visit requires Quicktime. I did download the latest version of Quicktime from Apple last night hoping it would fix the problem but no dice.

There is another problem as well. When i open my address book all of the text looks garbled. The characters look like a mangled hybrid of Arabic, Korean and Neptunian.

if anyone has any ideas as to how to fix either of these problems I would be very grateful.
Perhaps these are known issues.
