I lost connection with wifi and now when I try to log in i get login time out I then removed the "com.apple.internetconfigpriv.plist" now I get the invalid pw instead
I have been lookin for the " com.apple.internetconfig.plist" but could not find it in my library?
White macbook running 10.6.8.
Any suggestions short of whiping the OS clean of and reinstall?
TIA

Make a new user account and try to connect there. If it works, move your files from the old account to the new.

The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

Thank for the suggestion.
It worked well and even when I log in on the old account the connection still works
It could be some hardware as well that has developed, the macbook suddenly need a stronger wifi signal than the 3GS iPhone and the iPad, but at least it works! I have the router hanging on a concrete wall and I will get a shelf to place the router to get it off the wall by 20 cm or so.

I doubt your hardware is giving you problems. There is a fairly long history of WiFi "oops" issues in OS X, most of them fairly benign but also frustrating. While moving your router farther from the wall won't hurt, just convincing OS X that the MacBook really could connect tells me that it was more software than hardware.
