I have a G5 single 1.8 with the 5700 video card. Motion runs, but not great. So, my questions are thus:

1) Has anyone upgraded to the 9800 Pro Special?

2) If so, how does Motion run with that video card and the single 1.8?


I could sell my single 1.8 and get a faster machine with dualies, but need Motion to run with better FPS than what I am getting now. Or, upgrade to the 9800 (cheaper option). I am not a gamer, so I could care less about what games run better. I really hate to upgrade to a faster machine, but I really like Motion and I was wondering what specs/fps/info you guys have.

A Ati 9800 GPU will help a lot + add all the Ram you can afford. Motion is a memory hungry app.
