So I do a lot of web development, and I'm also a huge Python fan. Obviously I want to put the two together. However I'm having a hell of a time finding any good documentation on how to use Python for web programming (in my opinion, lack of easy to use documentation is the biggest problem that Python has). I can't even find anything that tell me the Python equivalents of $_GET and $_POST.
Can anyone point me to some good resources for this? I'll even spend money on a book if that's what it takes.
Thanks.

If you really want to get bare-bones, start with Python's built-in cgi module. You can also take a look at WSGI, which is a low-level Web server interface. Slightly higher-level than that would be web.py, and TurboGears is higher still. Django has a very good reputation, but it's probably higher-level than what you're looking for.

There is another interesting option, by the way: Java servlets programmed in Jython. Although the interest in Jython itself is relatively low at the moment (mostly due to Jython's embarrassingly-slow development process: it's three years behind) the interest in Jython servlets is high within the community.
