Does anyone know of a way and the path to the mask etc... to change
the hot spot of the arrow cursor without using mighty mouse?

i find myself on some windows clicking the grow box to resize and i get
a click through to the back ground or another window etc... because the hot spot
appears to be not at the tip of the arrow (including the white around it) but in
the black part two pixels down and one over to the right which is not even the very
point of the black arrow even. I basically want to move the hot spot 2 pixel up
and 1 pixel to the left.

a huge thanks to anyone that can help

(Note it appears the click mask for the grow box goes to the very edge of the artwork
after looking at it themepark so i do not think that is the problem)

To the best of my knowledge, the only way to change this is by using Mighty Mouse. The hotspot is hard coded into the frameworks, it's not stored in any editable form.

thanks Jason. Yes i feared that was the case when no one replied.

What is funny, I thought if anyone knew, you would, because it is a feature and a good one
of your Mighty Mouse. i just can't bring myself to buy/install MM just for one 1 small
pixel move and adding a haxie to my box that may or may not cause problems so I
lean towards the side of no haxies and use Hex-Editor first whenever possible

Do you know where it is hardcoded? note it may not be in your best interest to answer
if you do know where and i would totally understand

again thanks
