Yahoo Time Capsule - by Jonathan Harris

I've noticed that every person I've seen in the time capsule photos is Asian. The submissions are all either from Asians in the West, or Asians in their native countries.

Why are there so few, if any, white people using this? Is it too geeky for them? Is this a reflection of the internet at large?

I somehow felt sure you were exaggerating. Wow, you aren't.

It's not only Asians, my wife and I saw Hispanics, Greeks, and White people. But, there are many more Asians there. Interesting time capsule. I'm just wondering how many of those (I looked under "LOVE") couples will break up or become ex-best friends forever. Kinda cheesy if you ask me.

I clicked on about 6 pictures before I saw a single Asian person. Maybe all the white people rushed to even things out after you posted?

For that matter, how do the internet usage statistics break down by ethnicity? Are there more white people or Asian people using the internet?

In Web 3.0, evvvverything will be about computers chatting with other computers, eliminating the need for humans to put forth the already meager effort required by Web 2.0 sites.

I'd say that asians are likely the plurality, if not the majority, globally. So if anything were to be truly representative of global populations it would be largely asian.
