Ion Audio has introduced a Bluetooth version of a standard audio accessory for vehicle owners who's cars came with no "Aux In" jack but rather a cassette player (which was still standard equipment on many vehicles into the middle of the last decade) -- the
cassette adapter. The unit turns itself on and off automatically when inserted or ejected, and has a battery that lasts up to six hours (rechargeable through mini-USB, rather than the turning of the sprocketed wheels as one might expect) and can also route calls through the car's audio system (though a speakerphone is still needed to talk). Pricing and availability have not yet been announced, but the product is on display at Ion Audio's CES booth.
