I'm just getting into video editing really - had a camcorder last year but didn't do loads with it. Now I've joined my uni's student TV station. Made my first 2 minute show the other day...

Check out here - mine's the one called "The existence of Bob". I'm making a documentary this weekend, about the bellringing society... so more chance to get creative there.

Incidentally, the intro was made in Motion - first time I've used it. (Yeah, the society has an editing suite full of Apple goodness!) The rest of it was edited in Final Cut Pro.

Feel free to use this thread to show off your own video stuff...

What the nerd community most often fail to realize is that all features aren't equal. A well implemented and well integrated feature in a convenient interface is worth way more than the same feature implemented crappy, or accessed through a annoying interface.

cool. was it suppose to have an ending or is this like just a preview?

not sure if anyone want to the latest pile from me and my friends. we did a lot of funny stuff in high school but things have gone down hill.

go to http://www.truepop.com/ and click on the list. it's a 35MB QT file with some terrible audio for 15 minutes so ye be warned.

All I did was the editing but in the earlier stuff I was more involved.

edit: nevermind. it wasn't full loaded yet showed it was.

I liked it. Here's some stuff I've done on my powerbook and FCP:

Shopping Carts Little 45 second movie of a buddy being dumb. A bit dark, but it was night.

Falling on My Face a music video I made for this band from a few minidv tapes of their summer tour. (Near the bottom, i recommend the bigger version).

The Morning After Concert Here's a concert we shot and I edited. Pretty good stuff. Our streaming server seems to be on the blink right now, hopefully fixed in the morning.

Just a few music videos of my kids' baseball teams. Nothing fancy.

Sorry, they're kinda long.

Watched the blooper video, very nice job putting it to music. I also liked the prophetic play about 20 seconds in when the redsox are trying to tag out the yankee runner at first.

Now replace "or" with "and".
