$1 million to fix? Bogged down the district's system and interfered with technology use in classrooms? Lets not overreact now.

Man used computer program that bogged down system; will cost $1M to fix

Since it was installed on 5,000 computers, it must cost $200 per computer to uninstall SETI. Since it takes a max of 5 minutes per computer ... wait. They might be Windows computers, and might need to boot up first. So assuming 15 minutes per computer, the average school tech in Arizona makes $800 per hour.

Interesting. Wonder if they have job openings.

You for got they have to put the contract out for bid.
And you have to drive from school to school.
And walk from class room to classroom.
boot and shut down each computer in the classroom.
And search every machine for other software.

Heaven forbid they were all on a domain controller and you could just re-image the machines remotely.

You'll never build a civil service empire that way.

Just keep in mind that these are all accusations. He *allegedly* did all this nefarious stuff. Nothing proven, or even a rebuttal from the accused yet. There are also politics going on here...

Unfortunately that's how it usually is, nothing is as it seems.
