Over here (in the UK) we get loads of these TV listorama's where people bang on about who their favourite politician was, or the best philosopher of the last 100 years, or.. OK so actually they go on about pop stars, TV hosts and best potato chip flavour) but the theory is the same.

So (and with hopefully a wider spread) any thoughts

1) Most influential politican

2) Most important scientist of all time

3) Most important human event in history

4) Most influential/important/most moving work of art (of any type)

and on the lighter side

5) Best TV show

6) Best movie

7) Best pop phenomena (as in pop culture not necessarily pop music)

I'll post my votes when I have some time this evening. No polls as the results are too wide.

After re-reading that page it surprised me that no one ever mentioned that Sistine/Sistina is an Anglicization of of the name of the Pope (Sixtus IV) who had the chapel built and nothing to do with a number, either six or sixteen.
One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.

Why would Cheech Marin make a movie like this?

I'm a bird. I am the 1% (of pets).
