Why is Dr. Laura such a "witch with a capital 'b'"? As far as I can tell, she's a frustrated mother who literally beat her kids into submission and somehow got a radio station to let her have a soapbox.

Inflammatory rhetoric gets ratings. On the radio, at least.

Her TV show was pulled off the air after:
1. gay rights activists managed to convince all but one advertiser to pull commercials from her show, and
2. they "muzzled" her on TV, so her ratings were so low they moved her to 3am, where she got WORSE ratings than the infomercials!

I hate those shows... it's typical "quick fix" crap. On occasion... Dr. Phil will make an interesting point... but the thing is, if someone actually had a show that gave good advice, nobody would watch it.

My answer to most bad situation is: "get out now before it gets any worse"

Dr. Laura is a talk radio host who gives her brand of "moral" advice to callers. (her Doctorate, I believe, is in Physiology, a field totally unrelated to what she does on her show)

She comes across like a self-rightious c*nt, but maybe it's just me…

The fact that the pic is B & W suggests older, maybe late 1950's or early to mid 60's at the latest.

The actress resembles Elizabeth Montgomery.

The first year or two of her popular (family oriented sit-com) TV show, Bewitched was shot in B&W.

Certainly not all, but most feature films were in color by then.

This all means that It PROBABLY wasn't a feature film. It definitely wasn't from Bewitched.

So, what B&W TV film did Elizabeth Montgomery do before she starred in Bewitched?

EDIT: After much searching all I can confirm is that it is Elizabeth Montgomery.

http://www.sitcomsonline.com/photopo...cat/893/sort/2

The problem is that wherever this photo shows up it lacks attribution as to the film or show it's from. And in the 1950's and early 60's she did a LOT of work and I refuse to search any further.

There are mysteries we all have to learn to live with in life.

Where are Jimmy Hoffa's remains?

According to IMDB she had over 30 different TV appearances before bewitched from 1954. I had no idea she'd done so much. She was hot though…

Must be because I came out of the womb and plopped down in front of the TV but I've always held a very hot fantasy of me, Samantha, Jeannie and Morticia in a gang-bang. Sometimes, though, it goes completely awry and Donna Reed shows up in bondage gear. I really wish I wasn't making this up.

I remember years ago, they put the "Beauty" books written by Anne Rice (writing under a pen-name) on audio tape - read by Elizabeth Montgomery. That pretty much fueled gruelling masturbation sessions for weeks.

Yeah, that's what they call his radio show, it's on the local talk radio. I accidentally listened to it a couple times in the car. He played the national anthem and then told everyone that if you didn't have a tear in your eye you weren't a real American and you're just faking it.

It seems that shot's form the movie A Killing Affair. She was 44 freakin' years old in that shot, too. Holy living crap, she was one hot mother.

Elizabeth Montgomery apparently looked really young for her age. She was in her 30s when she started Bewitched, even though she looked, like, 20 in the earliest episodes.

Elizabeth Montgomery does get points for aging better than Barbara Eden though, she swelled up and got a lot of bad plastic surgery.
