Has anyone been watching this show?

I saw previews months ago and it finally started. Personally, I love it.
I am worried that because it's so different it will be cancelled soon, like so many other great shows do; Dead Like Me comes to mind.

I hope it comes to the iTunes Store soon. It's on ABC, so I don't see any reason why it won't.

I like it. The style of the show reminds me of the movie "Big Fish."

We like it, but missed last night's episode (the TiVo recorded America's Next Top Model and Back to You), so I'll have to bootleg it.

I haven't watched last night's episode yet, but the pilot was the best thing I've seen so far this season. Before it came on, I was positive it would get canned (the creator got kicked off Dead Like Me after like six episodes and his next show, Wonderfalls, which was also awesome, got cancelled after five), but it seems like a lot of people are actually watching this one. So I'm actually getting my hopes up a little bit.

It seems very odd, in a Tim Burton sort of movie way. My lady and I are both liking it. Hope it continues.

The first two episodes have been enjoyable. I hope they keep it up and it doesn't get canned.

Absolutely adorable!
I too, doubted whether the second episode could (a) sustain the over-the-top hilarity and (b) not overwear its welcome. Happy to be wrong on both counts.

I love it, "Chuck" is played by Anna Friel who is Robby William's ex girlfriend, her US accent is very good.

I think it is cute, and I hope it can last.

It's a US-only video player? That's weak. And then they complain about people downloading their shows through BT. What is wrong with these people?

Hmmm. Didn't know that. I can't believe there is not a hack out there.

Not that I would recommend such a thing. Or searching for such a thing. Because that would be wrong.

A lot of different moving parts—legal parties—are involved here, though, you know? The fact that content is available online at all these days (including cooperation with venues like Joost) means that networks are moving in the right direction. Remember, iTMS was far from international when it first opened.

Chuck is hawt in an odd kind of way, too.

I'm almost through the first episode. Except there's one problem. In the scene where Chuck's aunt can't see her because she only has one good eye, it's backwards. A good left eye would allow her to see around to the right of the doorway, which she can. Her bad right eye would impede her view to the left of the doorway.

Yes, I noticed that too! But nobody else did, and Lord knows this show doesn't need any help getting canceled, so I wasn't going to point it out.

She reminds a bit of Zooey Deschanel's Trillian character in HHGTTG. Quirky hotness.

That's probably true, ABC (USA) and the BBC (UK) both check for your country of origin but ABC (Australia-unrelated company) doesn't, if Australia with all of their reams and reams of over-regulation let you download from abroad and even add programs as podcasts then I don't see why the ABC US or the BBC can't relax this a little bit.

If anyone knows a way of getting around the ABC US or BBC issue please let me know.

That is a good point. ABC Australia podcasts entire episodes of their most popular shows for anyone to download no matter where they are in the world.

When her coffin was first opened I though it was her from HHGTTG. I bummed that it wasn't, but she has redeemed herself with the great job playing Chuck.

Yeah. Zooey would have been perfect for the role, but it would probably be too much of a reprise. Anna Friel is doing a great job though.

Third episode were even sweeter than the first two. Big Fish meets HHGTG meets A Series of Unfortunate Events this show.

Yes, this show is staying true to its quirkiness. I enjoyed the third episode best so far.

I imagine it helps that two of the three episodes have been written by Bryan Fuller, but yeah, I'm appreciating the consistency.
