Hi,

I have a G4 mini with Virtual PC 5 installed.

I've tried to install a game (Ceasar 3, 1998) but it says "invalid win32 application". Perhaps my problem is a Windows version problem.

1. Is it possible to run games on a PowerPC? Do they run ok?
2. Am I opening myself up to PC viruses? Can you turn internet access on & off within Virtual PC?

Many thanks. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have a lot of old PC games which I would like to play. e.g. Original Quake

The performance really isn't there to run most games.

Yes, you can get viruses within VirtualPC. Disable the virtual network adapter to take your VirtualPC off the internet.

For Quake: As long as you have the disc, you can download an OS X compatible version. It's on MacUpdate or VersionTracker. Includes online play etc.
