Freaking sucks. His songs were a huge part of my youth.

From his last concert:

"In my time of dying, I want nobody to mourn
All I want for you to do is take my body home."

Those are the opening lines to the last song Chris Cornell ever sang on stage. It was a cover of Led Zeppelin's "In My Time of Dying."
I read in another article (can't find it today) that he changed the last song while on stage, as "In My Time of Dying" wasn't on the written setlist.

I'm sure it's selective, but someone posted that a lot of those 90s rock bands have dead leads: sound garden, nirvana, Alice In Chains, stone temple pilots

Pearl Jam remains intact

Blind Melon was a different genre, which is why I left it off.

Whatever the case, I preferred having "Black Hole Sun" in my head instead of "No Rain".

As Superunknown was my second album ever I wholeheartedly state that Black Hole Sun is one of the worst tracks. Fourth of July and Head Down are the dank tracks.

With my parents in ministry, nearly every grunge/metal/rap CD from my youth mysteriously went missing roughly every six months. I stopped acquiring most CDs as soon as Napster became a thing.

I have no recollection of my first cassette, but the two first CDs I ever purchased:

One of these things is not like the other.
