Agreed. Pretty nice desk. I think you can put your keyboard inside the glass? I see you have your glasses in there.

I like how the photos are now sized to the pg, without stretching the pages and makes me have to scroll sideways.

Alright, this is my current setup, but I just bought a new desk from iKea, so I'll be posting new pictures soon.

(Also, this is my first post on MacNN, so forgive me if I use the wrong coding, or if the picture doesen't show up at all )

Very nice, is that the 20inch or 24inch?

Also, what brand of speakers are those? Are they any good?

Thanks you

It's is the 20", and the speakers are some REALLY old JBL Pro's. As for quality, they're really nice. Much better than any other computer speakers I've owned

Yeah, the power supplies on those were terrible. I ended up just trashing mine and buying a mac

I searched far and wide for the best L shaped desk. This is the best one. My wife and I have one each.

Pottery Barn Bedford corner desk.

I do not like to spend money on MDF furniture but this one is rock solid, white and is very comfortable. I work from home and I recommend this. You can place your elbows comfortably and work for hours without fatigue. I do not make any money for this plug

Yes it is. The problem is I used it quite a bit when it was near my PC. Now...not so much.

No I don't run a business out of my house. My last job was as a network tech so some clients gave me older computers and some I bought cheap. I do have a webserver running though.

Hey GarrettStewie, one, now wait, TWO questions actually. First, and most important, infact halfly joined the forums to ask you this question =P: How are those M-Audio studio monitors, is the sound FATIGUING at all? Is the sound too bright and tiring? Or are they smooth and nice to listen to at moderate levels for an hour or more? I am seriously considering these thingamaboopits, any input on them?

Second question, how the did you end up with GarretStewie? Lol..

Peace

To point you in the right direction, you might want to contact "Murdoc158" http://forums.macnn.com/members/murdoc158/ as he is the one with the set-up

I can't say enough about these monitors. The sound is so crisp and pure (assuming the input is as well) I've listened to my itunes library for over 8 hours and didn't mind one bit. I'm not really used to the "lack of bass" for lack of a better term. I've been using surround sound systems with subwoofers for most of my life. However, for what the monitors lack in bass, they make up for in mid and high range. You might want to check out the BX8a's as those have an 8" driver if memory serves me correctly. They had the BX8a's set up where I bought mine and they really pounded if you wanted them to. The cost/benefit ratio wasn't enough for me to get them though.

Way cool Stewie Yeah, I am alsolooking at the BX8a's w/ the 8 inch woofer, but I am going to be in a smaller room, and may just add a sub later, if needed. The 300 smackers are also easier on the savings account
