If you have not played this game, you must play this game. The hype is basically true. This is one of the best games ever made.

I just finished playing it today. I have to agree. I’m not a big gamer at all, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. (I actually played so much today I got seasick!)
Despite the lack of cake.

I was just talking about this today. Portal was one of the first first-person games I played for more than a few minutes. It made me queasy pretty reliably and quickly, but I suffered through it because it was so good.
(It’s not FPSes in general that do that, because I never got any motion sickness from Resistance, and I stopped getting it from Bioshock in a few hours.)

Duh
Please be advised that a noticeable taste of blood is not part of any test protocol but is an unintended side effect of the Aperture Science Material Emancipation Grid, which may, in semi-rare cases, emancipate dental fillings, crowns, tooth enamel, and teeth.

I either love a game or am completely bored by it. I managed to inherit my old Boss's Mac Pro complete with 20" ACD, and I can tell to that the levels where you catapult yourself just about left me cross-eyed. I love a gave this much only once every few years. Super Mario Galaxy and GTA:VC (my first GTA) are the only games that come close for me.

Doesn't Portal come for free when you download Steam?

I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

It was only free for the first while after Steam launched. For those that missed the free period and still want it, $1.99 is a lot better then $19.99.
