hi gang,

i have a brand new dell 30 inch 3007wfp-hc hooked up to my 2.8 octo mac pro with 8800 video card with 10.5.2

every thing is working fine except the built in card reader. the usb hub works and the monitor works with no issues but no matter what card i put in, the computer doesn't recognize the card.

nothing in disc utility etc... like nothing was ever inserted.

the same card is read when it's inside my camera and connected to the monitor via the usb but nothing via the monitor card reader.

i have tried sd cards and cf cards.

any insight is appreciated.

there are drivers for the monitor for windows via the support site at dell but nothing for mac osx.

thank you in advance.

chung

I have the 2405 (24" monitor) and have had 0 problems with the card reader. I use it all of the time, and I didn't need to do anything special to get it to work. Maybe its defective.
