ARGH! And wtf, Apple? Why did the "export to HTML" feature get removed from Pages? >.<

What's next? Apple will remove the ability to add your own mail servers to Mail and force you to use .mac?

Really? That is wack. I mean really stupid. I used that all the time as a low-bandwidth version of my PDF.

Yeah, not good.

I would have also liked an option for the Word Export to choose between the two versions. Pages opens the new format it would have been nice to save it as that format. Or maybe its there and I haven't paid that much attention and found it.

iWeb is in iLife and I noticed there was no export to HTML in Pages also. That's just insane this day in age.

Just save a copy in Pages ’06 format, open that one with Pages ’06 and export there to HTML. I mean ... tell Apple.

Because HTML exported by word processing programs tends to be messy and horrible? (in general, anyway. I haven't specifically seen the HTML that Pages '06 exports, but I doubt it's great)

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

The HTML from Pages '06 was pretty embarrassing. The pages generally looked okay though.

Would people really be exporting from Pages thinking they were getting a great and well-coded page though? Isn't the purpose of the feature just for basic quick and dirty utility?

I admit I haven't checked, but I can't imagine it was as bad as Word's HTML export.
