when i am charging my new ipod nano, the screen stays on...
i am not sure i should be concerned, but i am.
is there any way to turn it off while it is charging?

I don't know the nano well enough to know if that's standard for it. You should check another nano to see if it does the same thing, and if not you should schedule an appointment with an Apple Store genius.

Apple is pretty good with warranty and stuff. When the first 80GB came out sth was wrong with my ipod. It was a gift and wasn't even bought in canada....i've no receipt nothing but I went into the apple store and they just gave me a new ipod. They'll do sth about it. Don't be too upset every electronics has it's glitch.

well apple looked at it, and replaced it.
the problem is when it is plugged in the screen stay on forever.
Apple say that is the way it is supposed to be.
i just think that will cause burn-in or the other issues that I had with the screen.
any thoughts.

LCDs don't have burn-in, and the LED backlights won't even begin to wear out during the iPod's lifetime.
