I decided I like the idea of changing the system fonts, but what should I use for it? It seems like Tinkertool can do it or this Silk thing, so which is it? Or if it's both, how are they different?
thx

Tinkertool does things that Silk cannot, and vice versa. Those are the two apps that people will recommend. There is a fairly recent thread on proper Silk settings.

Seems to me that it would be stupid to use Tinkertool alone since it does nothing to the menubar, but Silk can get at least one font to replace another for everything in the system. It would be the best if Silk added the option to change the font sizes or have a different font for just the monospace text. I just hate futzing with two apps to do the job one should do.
PS: thanks for the settings tips. I personally think everyone should try using Fear Platinum 3 with either Berylium or Cochin, but that's just my preference.
