In 6 minutes... I will be 30 years old (well, technically 8:03 AM on August 11th, but close enough).
Guess it's time to be responsible.

Happy Birthday!

If noting one's 30th birthday meant even a small group of people began behaving responsibly, we'd have both a much more stable world and a much more boring world.
Use the birthday (happy birthday, by the way) to reflect and organize, but don't decide that now you're "grown up" or something. Getting older is mandatory, growing up is still optional. And that's a good thing, because "grown ups" tend to be set in concrete and don't grow and improve themselves. They're boring, inflexible, and they become less and less happy as the things they anchored themselves to move past them.
30 was a pretty good milestone for me. I hope you can look back in a few years and feel that it was really good for you too.

Don't listen to him. It's time to grow up and be responsible. Those of us in the older generation were forced to grow up at 16 and have been paving the way for yalls easy life ever since.
You know back in my day...

Yes, I look forward to telling people I'm "thirty-something" for the next 10-20 years.

Exactly. I have been turning 30 for a couple of years now, precisely for that reason.

It just happened to me as well, a week ago. Kind of lame not to be in my 20s anymore. Ah well - it's just a number, right? Happy 30th to us.

I remember 30.
I had my first back surgery when I was 30.
Enjoy!

33 seemed like a big thing for me. 40 went by without a blink.

I turn 30 in November.
Sucks, don't it?
It's a time to reflect on what I haven't done right for the past 15 years ;(
And change those things before I'm 40!
