I'm probably going to have to install a new video card for a friend.
She has a PowerMac G4 667Mhz Digital Audio model. I went to Apple's online guide in regards to video card removal and I'm stumped.
I've installed PCI cards, Hard Drives, and Optical Drives in the past but never dealt with AGP Video cards.
After removing the screw on the video card, comes step 2. When I press the latch on the AGP slot to release the Video Card, do I simutaneously pull up on the video card to remove? Or does pressing on the latch automatically releases the video card and following that, I just lift the video cardt up afterwards to remove it?
Could someone familar with the PowerMac G4 Digital Audio model and have experience with handliing AGP video cards be kind of enough to walk me through and explain? Thanks.

Unless it has a CPU upgrade, it's not a Digital Audio at 667. Apple never released a PowerMac at that speed.

I won't address your AGP question because the AGP 2x slot in my Sawtooth doesn't have a latch. Changing the card is just like changing a PCI card.

Actually Apple did release a PowerMac G4 Digital Audio 667Mhz machine.
link#1: Power Mac G4: How to Differentiate Between Models
just scroll down to figure 2 in the link and you'll see "single 466, 533, 667,
733, Dual 533" under "Power Mac G4 (Digital Audio)"
link#2: Power Macintosh G4 (Digital Audio)
It's not an upgraded cpu but a stock cpu, I was there when my friend bought it new from an apple specialist during the year 2001.

Yes, pull the video card out while pushing the latch.

Ditto. But make damn sure that when you put the new card in, that it latches. I have smelt the smell of blown up computer from AGP cards that were not well seated. They smoked a mobo and a very very expensive video card that way on a PC.

AGP slots are pretty tight... really shove the card in there. IIRC (it's been a while since I've had a computer with an AGP slot), you can't see any of the card's "teeth" when the card is properly inserted.
