It hasn't fixed the problem I'm having with iTunes failing to group a compilation album (various artists, one album name) together under coverflow, despite my best efforts. Infuriating.

You had changed the ID3 tag to specify the album is a compilation, right? Setting the "album artist" tag will also fix this problem.

That looks like Aqua4iTunes Uno style. Btw I reinstalled everything (didn't have to touch iTunes library) and it worked the second try.

Yes, I'd tried both, and neither resolved the problem on my system. I've tried everything I can think of (yes, "group compilations together" is set in prefs), but the album continues to be spread throughout my music library.

Btw, notice no ALL CAPS as in "LIBRARY". I did that.

Try using the "album by artist" sorting method. Click on the "album" header to select it, and then keep clicking on it to get to "album by artist."

Maybe I'm slow, but I just noticed that the scroll ball on my Mighty Mouse flips through Cover Flow-- up=left & down=right. Nice & smooth, and fast way to get through your library visually.

I don't know, but I make episode # and track # the same.

Since i installed iTunes 7, it crashes every time i try to resize the main window. I had hoped that 7.0.1 would fix that (i sent in the crash report to Apple 8 times i think), but alas, I still can't resize the window without it throwing a hissy fit.

Well whaddayaknow, that worked. Thank you. What a dumbass counter-intuitive way of going about it, though. Apple should really hire back some UI developers before iTunes turns into a Windows app.

Oops. Too late.

This update fixed all the issues my brother had on his PC with iTunes and it acting up under heavy CPU load.

It also smoothed out Cover Flow on my Mac.
