I've been having the random freeze on my 2.4GHz 24-inch iMac (even after installing Leopard), but today a more ominous problem: it won't boot. I get the grey startup screen, and then the blue screen...and that's it. The progress wheel pops up now and then, but it just chugs away and never gets to the desktop. Repeated hard restarts give the same result. At this point I wouldn't be able to install a firmware/software update even if one were available.

TDM works fine. I guess the only thing to do is move my files to my creaky old PowerBook and send the iMac back to Apple.

Logitech drivers installed? Any Unsanity haxies?

Does it boot if you hold down the "Shift" key?
