At the moment, using nought but System Preferences, I have set up my iBook to switch itself on, log in automatically, and then open BitTorrent as a login item. It switches itself on at 5:14pm, every day, and switches itself off at 8:39am. This is so that I might download something very huge using my office's very fast interweb connection. I leave the iBook locked up in my office. My boss is fine with it, so long as I do it after hours, so that it does not slow things down for anyone else. So, all is good, I'd just like to make one change:
Switch on computer at 5:14pm on Friday, but, instead of switching off at 8:39am on Saturday, don't do that until 8:39am on Monday. The upshot being that the computer can keep downloading all weekend, when no-one is in the office.
If anyone knows how to do this, either by using the Terminal or another application, please tell me how.
Thanks,
Yellow Towel Mouse!
