hey, I have a macbook running leopard, and I downloaded an app today that is a .sit.
I tried using stuffit to open it, but it just gave me a bunch of random text. Any help? Thanks

Since it sounds like it's a shareware app, could you post a link to it so we can look at it ourselves?

It unstuffed fine for me, into a folder containing a readme & an updater app.

Works for me, too, using both StuffIt Expander and The Unarchiver. Are you sure you have the latest version of one of those two apps installed?

not sure what's up with my stuffit expander. I just downloaded the Unarchiver and used that and it works fine. Thanks
